Coca-Cola Brazil launches the first bottle of mineral water made 100% with recycled PET in the Brazilian market. To produce the new bottles, the Crystal brand will no longer use eight thousand tons of virgin plastic, which would be consumed in the production of 400 million packages of Crystal. Coca-Cola Femsa, the bottler responsible for 50% of the national territory, kicks off the migration in the first half of October. The change in the other manufacturers of the Coca-Cola Brasil System will take place in 2021.

The Crystal brand, now with a new visual identity, seeks to help build sustainable consumption practices, starting with its new positioning: delivering water without leaving waste.
“Crystal's new language is based on a commitment to simplicity, where two elements gain absolute prominence: water and dots. It means a big change and points to a new future in water consumption, a future without waste”, says Poliana Sousa, Vice President of Marketing for Coca-Cola Brazil.
