Skol Cans

Inspired by popular slang from the virtual world, Skol presents special cans straight from its social soap opera, “Tour das Tours”, published on Facebook. The unprecedented content produced by Skol, alongside Facebook and Endemol Shine Brasil, was born on social networks and was produced specifically for the internet. Now the Ambev brand launches an exclusive pack with six cans of 269 milliliters that bring six common slang from the virtual world: Arroba, Fanfiqueira, Biscoiteira, Afrontosa, Atenta and Embuste. In addition to the word, consumers will find the meaning of each of them.

The kit is for sale exclusively on the Empório da Cerveja website for 12 reais.

A success on the internet, “Tour das Tours” is a social soap opera inspired by the stories of LDRV, a group on the platform that has more than 400 members. With 11 chapters, the content has a script and production designed for the vertical format to meet the consumer's habit of mobile content. The last part of this content went live this Monday, November 4th.

Real stories

“Skol's social soap shows everything that social media groups have that is most engaging, with real and very interesting stories. Now, we are able to bring to people's lives some elements that are part of these virtual conversations, such as this unique and fun language”, explains Leandro Thot, Skol's marketing manager.

The meaning of each of the cans follows:

Scourge: person who makes you almost have a heart attack. aka crush. It has had other names, such as: flirt, crush, lance… but the suffering is the same.

fangirl: person full of migué, who loves a fake story. It's not always bad: good fanficers create prize-worthy fame.

biscuit: person who does everything to hitar in the group. Exaggerates, makes drama, tries to be outrageous and get attention. All in the name of the like.

outrageous: person who doesn't mince words. He says, does and posts everything that suits him, without fear of being happy.

Attentive: person anxiously waiting for something, some tour, some fact, some thread, some flop or someone.

Lie: person with questionable attitudes and ideas. Someone difficult to deal with and very easy to get rancid.
